A big old box from UPS.
I came home at lunch time to bring it in so it wouldn't get damaged. (Who am I kidding?) But I restrained myself from playing with it until I came home for good last night.
Here's probably the best card of the bunch.
NO PHOTO-Use your imagination.
Why? Google won't let me add any photos in it because they're having "difficulties."
This is the third day of trying to do something and so unless you all have a suggestion, I'm going to transfer this blog over to another site as Blogger isn't working for me any more. Too bad, because the "old" Blogger was fun to use. This isn't.

Baltimore Regional SU Meeting
My apologies for not updating this. First I was ill and then we had things going with the family such as my mother's 80th birthday and other things. One of these other things was the Stampin Up Regional Meeting in Baltimore in mid-April..
How was it? It. was. fabulous! I took so many photos that my camera battery died. Photos (with my notes) can be found here. I think you'll enjoy it. SHELLI GARDNER was there along with her husband, Sterling. Brian Pilling was there doing a demo as was Carrie Cudney and Shannon West. We had some really outstanding local demos showing some Workshop Wow and Makes & Takes.
And I got to experience, first hand, the Prize Patrol. Oh, boy was that fun! All of us won a package of paper and the Make A Wish Stamp Set (available here). But others won things like the "Hey Dude" box set, the latest Paper Pumpkins and a few other fun things. And, we even got a few sneak peeks at some products coming out in the new Annual Catalog.
(I'll tell you all one thing -- I think you'll like it.)
But when we get new things to play with, we also have to say goodbye to others. The Retired List is out and it's available here. Some things have sold out (like some papers and accessories) but take a look.
So which retired sets will you miss?
What was the best part about going to Baltimore? Honestly, there were so many things but because it was my first time -- I loved the card swaps. I wish I had been more disciplined to make more beforehand because I loved getting them and I was sad when I ran out of my cards. On the other hand, as they say, "take a picture because it lasts longer."
Here's one of the cards I made for the swap. Well, it will have to wait because Blogger/Google aren't getting along. If you become a demo (and please contact me), you too can go to regional meetings and have fun like I did. It was great to hang out with my upline. My husband was so sweet to drive me up there. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Inner Harbor. And, he was lucky because there was a robotic convention going on downstairs from us. He had a blast -- it was a win-win all around.

Cards of March 2013
I thought I'd post some photos of the cards I made at my upline's stamp buffet (with a few tweaks) and some of the other cards. I haven't been making as many cards as I would like because I've been involved in organizing my work place. On the other hand, I don't think I'll ever get it completely organized so I'll just sit on my bed and work from there.
Here's a card that I made at my mom's request. She wants some sympathy
cards. I used the swallowtail butterfly, embossed it with white
embossing powder, used the sentiment from the "Love & Sympathy" card
set. For the inside, I used the sentiment and plant from "Thoughts and
Prayers." The only thing I want to redo with this is use white card
stock for the inside. However, my white card stock was not cooperating tonight. Maybe
tomorrow. And I need to photograph it so that it's not crooked.
The Ears to You Stamp with the Tulip Embossing Folder (idea by Rose Van Epp)
Whole Latte Love (Led Zepp & SU?), again (idea by Rose Van Epp)
Celebrate SAB stamp (idea by Rose Van Epp)
Another card at Rose's card buffet (idea by Rose Van Epp)
The dahlia from "Creative Elements" with window frame framelits. (I used what was left of a window frame and embossed it to make some layers.)
The "Hello Hello" single stamp using the window framelit (see above) with SAB paper and rhinestones.
A birthday card for my aunt -- can you guess that purple is her favorite color?

First post -- I've been doing Stampin Up now for six months and I'm so glad I did it. I really have had a lot of fun with it and met some really nice people.
We're in the final weeks of Sale-a-Bration which means you can get a free gift for every $50 you spend. You only have until Friday, March 22 to place your order and you can go to my website here.
I'll also be setting some card parties -- you can come and make a certain number of cards for a flat fee, have fun, meet people, and go home with several handmade cards. Interested? Contact me!
You still have time to sign up and be a hobbyist demonstrator for $99 and get an extra 25% in merchandise for your starter kit. You could come home, find a box filled with goodies like this!
